BETH MALCOLM

Beth Malcolm is a singer-songwriter and keyboard player from Perth. She sings a mix of traditional, modern and her own original Scots songs. In 2021, Beth was nominated for BBC ALBA Scots Singer Of The Year, before winning the award in 2023.

Kissed and Cried, Beth’s debut album, was released in 2023 to great acclaim. Borrowing songs and ideas from the Scots tradition which inspire her own powerful writing, the album is a musical & “coming of age” for this massively talented young artist.

A keen collaborator, Beth has worked with a number of Scotland’s finest artists including Fat-Suit, Adam Holmes, Lewis McLaughlin and with ‘Gaelictronica’ sensations Niteworks on the hit track John Riley. As a live artist, she performs in a variety of formats from duo up to a 7-piece band.
